What's All This?
Hi! I’m Andrew Roach.
I’m part of a weird little art collective in the North GA mountains, where we’re building home-grown alternatives to the media and culture produced by distant faceless corporations.
This is our fan club, where you can keep track of all the things we're doing, like making toys, and get a peek behind the scenes at what we're building for the future.
You might know us from:
- Mountain Town Toys
- New Ellijay Television
- Analog Revolution
- Hemlock Bazaar
- The Ellijay Makerspace
- Mountain Town Radio
- And lots of other weird art and media.
We believe that finding joy in a world that is trying to make you despair is a radical act, we call it revolutionary joy.
For the better part of the last 15 years we’ve published a semi-regular music magazine called Analog Revolution, as part of our record label Analog Revolution Records. Analog Revolution is still around, but the magazine has grown into something beyond just music, to encompass a wide array of independent media, art, and culture.
So we’re mixing things up. Welcome to the Joyful Revolution, a celebration of Community Media from me, the rest of the Mountain Town Community, and our collaborators around the world.
Things will be up and running here shortly, but you can subscribe in the meantime if you'd like to stay up to date and receive emails when new content is published!
